2 guys+1girl Memphis-based combo from New Orleans. Ian - the guitar player - also plays with the
Black Lips now. Here are a couple of raw tracks of high-voltage swampy
garagepunk. One song have been recorded by Alicja Trout at the Tronic
Graveyard in Memphis with Jay Reatard as special guest on Sequential
Circuits.
REVIEWS
Mo' Memphis madness building
on the legazy of The Oblivians and trash rock in general. Ugly, unhealthy
and unfriendly as it's supposed to be. One of the songs is recorded by
Alicja Trout and Jay Reatard is also involved somehow which should give
you an idea about the madness involved. Not for the faint at heart.

Broke-ass blues by the way
of the Lost Sounds, including a guitarist whis is now in the Black Lips.
It's effective punk blues (without compromising either one of the terms)
mixing the creeping sickness and itchiness. The two songs are swampy and
feel like the players are knee-deep in mud, playing on a clear night where
all the stars are easy to see and fill up the night. Honest,
authentic-sounding stuff.
